Cultural Perspectives proudly participated in the special All Stars Harmony Day Match at Genea Netball Centre in a Harmony Day celebration brought together by Netball Australia and Netball NSW. The match was developed to bring together leading political, sporting and community figures to celebrate both Harmony Day and the fantastic achievements of Netball Australia and their member organisation in breaking down barriers to participation in the sport.

From what I have been reading today, I can safely say that no news item has received more coverage in the Chinese community than the Chinese Premier’s current visit to Australia. Premier Li will land in Australia’s capital city this evening with a large group of Chinese business delegates with the aim to boost trade between China and Australia.

The 2017 Harmony Dinner Unites Everyone Together

Hosted by the Hon. Ray Williams, Minister for Multiculturalism, in the presence of the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, Premier of New South Wales, the 2017 Premier’s Harmony Dinner was concluded with dazzling performances from an array of cultures last night at Rosehill Racecourse, bringing industry leaders, community members, businesses, ambassadors, and consulates together to celebrate and honour NSW’s cultural harmony and diversity. 

New Partnership tackling autism in CALD communities

Positive Partnerships and the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to promote an understanding of autism in children and the support that can be accessed by culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
