The Australian eSafety Office Launches Tools to Tackle Online Hate

The Australian eSafety Office today launched a new engagement platform called Young & eSafe to help counter online hate. This action is in response to a recently released research that shows up to 60 per cent of young Australians aged 12 to 17 have witnessed racist or hateful comments about cultural or religious groups online. Young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are particularly more prone to being targets of these online attacks.
