City of Sydney has promised the biggest Chinese New Year celebration outside of China this year. From 27th January to 12th February, the celebration which includes dragon boat racing, lantern festivals, art exhibitions, and various activities and events, will expect to attract more than a million visitors.
Not only big in size, the celebration also has some impressive events. One of which is the National Dumpling Eating Championship. Do not assume the title will go to someone from a Chinese background, Sydney’s multicultural diversity and love of dumplings will make this a fierce competition with many people from different backgrounds and cultures vying for the championship.
