The Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience is Australia’s flagship community event of the Anzac centenary. Toured at 23 locations around Australia from September 2015 to April 2017, the Experience brings to life an infant Australia still finding its feet on the eve of war. It follows in the footsteps of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and nurses throughout the campaign, including a commemoration of Australia’s century of service.
The Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience is currently on in Sydney from 15-27 April. For those living in Australia who have migrated from other countries or those passing through there is probably no better opportunity to learn about the history of Australia and discover what life was like for the Anzac soldiers and those living back home in Australia throughout the early war years. It’s also a good way to understand Australian value from a historic point of view. In many Australians’ eyes, the Anzac spirit represents the ideals of courage, resilience in the face of adversity and mateship that unites us altogether.
Time: 15-27 April 2017
