Dive In, the Festival for Diversity and Inclusion in the Insurance Industry, will be held in Melbourne on 27 September for the first time this year. The aim of the festival it is initiate conversations and inspiration for companies and organisations to bring about positive changes in diversity and inclusion in their businesses and workplaces.
The Dive In Festival was first held successfully in London in 2015 and across 10 countries in 2016. This year will see events returning to global locations such as London, New York City, Zurich, and Bermuda, as well as new cities including Beijing, Perth, Melbourne, Leeds, and Mumbai, between 26-28 September 2017.
The Melbourne Dive In Festival will feature a number of diversity advocates such as Tracey Spicer, a diversity advocate and journalist, and Jan Cooper, renowned Women's AFL trailblazer and an expert in unconscious bias. They will be leading a discussion around multiculturalism, mental health, and LGBT issues.
