Roanna Gonsalves is an academic from NSW, and has published her first book entitled, ‘The Permanent Resident’. As a former international student who immigrated to Australia, Roanna provides a detailed description on the migrant experience in Australia. All the stories in the book attempt to provoke thought in the reader, to urge a reflection on what it means to be a migrant.
