Review

Issue:
Australia Council for the Arts wanted a full review of their 2007 Cultural Engagement Framework (CEF), which had for seven years provided the basis for the agency's diversity and inclusion policies.

Solution:
DiverseWerks was commissioned to conduct a review of the CEF, utilising both interviews and formal discussions with key Council staff, a desktop audit of the CEF and associated implementation plans and reporting mechanisms.

DiverseWerks facilitated a planning workshop with a wide range of key Council internal stakeholders to ensure the widest possible level of engagement in setting the direction of the CEF into the future.

Results:
A final report was produced for the Australia Council which provided an overview of the findings and observations made throughout the review of the CEF. The report helped inform the approach that has been taken subsequently to maintain and evolve the CEF within the Council.
