Issue: 
The Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA) and the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) held a National Roundtable to examine the gaps in research around ageing and aged care for older culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) Australians.

Solution: 
DiverseWerks were requested to facilitate the National Roundtable held on Thursday 10 March 2016 at Parliament House in Canberra. Participants of the Roundtable brought their expertise to examine the barriers facing older CALD people, discuss how they may receive equitable access of care, analyse research gaps, and debate options to advance research around ageing CALD communities.

Results: 
The outcomes of the FECCA-NARI National Roundtable provided an innovative approach between industry and research personnel, that saw the development of a strategic research agenda and plan of action to further advance the needs and understanding of older CALD Australians, in line with the Government's reform agenda.
