Issue: 
Hume Council required the services of DiverseWerks to facilitate a professional development forum: 'A Shared Journey - Supporting the wellbeing of refugee families in Hume'.

Solution: 
DiverseWerks Managing Director Pino Migliorino was invited to facilitate a professional development forum exploring the refugee experience and the journey to community wellbeing in Hume.

The one day forum had three keynote speakers and two breakout sessions on mental/physical health, wellbeing and disability, and families and community support.

Results: 
There were key policy outcomes taken from the forum, which the Council could take back and use to assist refugee families living in the Hume area.
